Briquette Project
Wood U Waste works within the local community to produce and distribute briquettes made from 100% recycled pure wood sawdust.
The briquettes are made at Leyhill Open Prison and are ideal for open fires, wood burners and solid fuel heating systems. They are also great for BBQs in summer. Learn More

Wood U Waste also works to reduce fuel poverty via education, working in partnership with the Citizen’s Advice Bureau to give
‘Energy Best Deal‘ training to individuals & organisations.

Donation
In the UK, a winter fuel payment of between £200 and £300 is made to everyone over 60. If you are fortunate enough not to need yours, you could donate part or all of it to help those less well-off via our Winter Fuel Payment Appeal
