Education

As a delivery partner for Energy Best Deal (EBD) training during 2011, Wood U Waste worked with the Citizen’s Advice Bureau to help people get the best deal possible on their energy.

Wood U Waste provides free training to help people manage their energy use & fuel bills more efficiently

We also run a number of free sessions around the Stroud District to help elderly and vulnerable people avoid the problems caused by fuel poverty by better understanding their fuel bills, finding the best deal on their energy via fuel switch and accessing other available help and support.

Working in partnership with Transition Stroud and Stroud College, Wood U Waste will help to present a series of Green Lifestyle Evening Lectures taking place between September and December 2011. These are free of charge and advise householders how to save money and contribute to saving the planet.

Debbie from Wood U Waste has worked with a number of local schools to promote composting and sustainable energy issues.
